I guess my calendar's a bit off. It must be April 1st.

"Created by a young design team..." If I were boss, they'd all get the boot!

Yuck.

That about explains it.... they mentioned they are making this bike because they "want to" not that they should. They are clearly doing their own thing and not listening to the customer base. Wonder if they feel the same way after the big bosses penalize them for the loss in bottom line....

I don't care anything about the design/looks. It probably is easy to ride and handles well enough. Wonder what a 20 something year old might think of the design?

Re: And here's the next step for the CTX line.......

It's very reminiscent of the angular, slabby phase that everything BMW went though in the mid-2000s. Think of this as a lightweight 2006 K1200GT in cruiser form with the snoot from the X-Wing that never got used anywhere else.

Usually when the marketing people start going on about "passion" (overused word of the decade IMHO), I have to throw the BS flag.

No beak. That's going to be a non-starter. :)

I do like the flip-up backrest idea, and other than the front cowl that looks like it came out of a Batman movie, the rest of it isn't horrible.

The displacement shows a continued interest in the long-neglected middleweight market, which I think is a good thing.

I bet it sells well in Japan. It's not a lot different looking than many personalized scooters over there. But it will go away like the DN-01 here.

You mean - no one here thinks the Vultus is Voluptuous?

Exactly what I thought. It's a decent scooter. I'm looking for a decent motorcycle. :)

I thought the same thing,,,"It looks like a big scooter." I do like the wheels, the dual spokes are kinda neat.

Wonder what it's radar signature is? Look like it might be somewhat stealthy. One of the designers must have been a fan of the stealth fighter F-117.
