head light clicking

not all the time but some of the time when I turn the ignition on, the headlight starts making noises like it is trying to adjust then it begins popping. It will stop doing it but I don't like it! Can I simply pull a fuse that operates the head light adjuster and not effect anything else or is there another way to fix this easily? Sorry if this has already been discussed but I couldn't find it.

Might be a dirty pot in the headlight adjuster knob.
Mine did that brand new rotated the adjuster knob a few times and it never did it again.
