Simple pleasures

Well, I did a little (long overdue) maintenance this week - new fork seals (and thus fluids, etc) and redid the preload adjuster on the back, along with a new Michelin PR4GT on the front. The "wallowing" I've been experiencing lately is gone and everything feels taut and true. Even with 106,000 miles on the old girl, it feels like a new bike. She's a keeper!

I always get pleasure from the first ride on new tires--it feels like I just jumped on a brand-new bike!!

Sometimes a set of tires is all I need to remind me how much I like one of my motorcycles.
