It is an individual thing I know some people riding that are young and really shouldn't be as they have no skills and don't seem intrerested in developing any. I also know a few in their 70's still doing Iron Butt rides like the 100 CCC Insanity and will ride most guys in their 30's into the groundLouie Louie said:Ok..The dreaded question.. I know its subjective. I feel it depends on the person. Specifically the physical & mentall skills of the individual rider.
When I grow up I want to be like Don. The man is my hero. He rides a BMW that has well over 250,000 miles and barely misses any of the HSTA rides. I have been going to the HSTA Ride The Rio in Big Bend since 1997 and Don has been there every year. He will start out the evening drinking Crown Royal, goes to bed long after everybody else has has called it a night and gets up before the roosters.:bow1: :bow1: :bow1:RideTN said:the famous Don Clark just rode his bike to STAR in Avon, Co. he is merely 87 years old. my understanding is he has never missed a STAR.
