My T30 GT rear only lasted 5500 miles. Nice tire great price not the longest lasting. I mught try the PR4 GTs next.

Yes indeed-y. In absolute terms decreased handling is traded for increased tire mileage. A car tire is not built to perform in the manner of a motorcycle tire.

I've never ridden a bike with a car tire so I can't speak with certainty on some aspects. Riders may learn to ignore the feeling of being on a car tire. I believe that a good rider will alway know they're on a car tire except maybe when on a nice smooth slab of concrete.

Like many mods it's about changing something to a personal preference and adapting to any required changes.
I know this is an old thread.. However..
I'll drag a knee and corner just as hard as the bike will take it with no problems on my CT. I like to think I've pushed the limits on the CT at times. I've drifted in corners to the limits, some dry and some wet roads. In the end, I was impressed with the CT handling.. I've had Mt tires give out way earlier in the corner loading.

Just saying

haven't found a MT that can hang a corner better than Hankook V12 CT. In fact, the only times my bike ever slid out in a tight curve was with a PR3.

Is this "Back To The Darkside"? Isn't there a subforum for Darkside posts?
