Hi,
The left hand headlamp has an intermittent fault. I have seen threads about mucky starter switches and indeed pressing it causes this HID to ignite. However it may go out again at any time.

I have tried separating the two halves of the switch housing to allow me to blast the switch with contact cleaner, but to no avail.

Are there two separate connections for the two headlamps in the switch?

Is it easy to get at the contacts to abrade them?

Thanks in advance.

Had a similar issue with my Toyota pickup, turned out to just be the bulb.

Umm... HID's?

How are they wired? Are you using an auxiliary relay that is getting power from the battery (via fused feed) or just taking the feed straight from the OEM headlight?

If the feed is from the Honda wire harness the fault may be in the green ground wire coming out of the harness to bulb connecter. I had an intermittent loss of left hand low beam that was finally fixed when I made a new ground wire from the connector to a convenient ground point on the left side of the frame.
