St1300 reliability

St1300 reliability in comparison to the st1100 the reason I amasking
is I am thinking of changing to the 1300 next year my 1100has been
super reliable .any input would be helpful and things tolook out for.

Both bikes have issues the the other one doesn't... but I would say it's a wash and they are equally reliable for the most part.

Both are highly reliable. The nits and picks of each one are different though.

Yes, but first of all one has to discriminate between issues caused due to neglect, lack of/wrong service, user caused problems (aftermath of overzealous farkle-fever), etc... and real quality/design related things...
Any apparatus, automotive in particular are only as good as the service they receive...
i.e. if folks ride through brine in winter and rarely wash it off afterwards, is it not really astonishing when swing-arms and stators rot into pieces over the years...
