OEM Heated Grip Problem

Hi,

On my ST1300 the grips will not heat above the second setting, the lights on the controller flash on and off. One grip was replaced last year and I'm thinking both should have been replaced. What's your thoughts?

Low voltage?

All I'd did was remove the connections, clean them up and replaced the battery with a Yuasa VLRA Battery.
Mainly just using the 1st setting during the cool nights this summer, I'll check the other settings in the near future.

I doubt it, fires right up?

If the lights are flashing on the controller then you have low voltage reading at the controller or a bad controller. Check the voltage at the switch.

I called the dealer & they are going to take care of the problem, thanks for the responses!!!
