Don't you just hate when you lean the bike over, thinking the side stand is down, and too late realize it isn't.

Haven't had the complete pleasure you speak of, but have been too close for comfort a couple times. That's a bad feeling. Like when you're leaning back in a chair and tip just past the point of no return.

I managed to just save one of these the other day. Good thing this bike is light enough to...OK no it was really heavy and all I could do to keep from dropping, but having a few co-workers watch you gives you extra desire to not put it down.

Never done that with my ST, but did many years ago after I rode my GS850G into the service bay to get an inspection sticker - kinda embarrassing...
