the best bit is, the more you ride it, the more you will like it. And, as these things can do 100,000
without breaking a sweat, there should be a lot more to come

Great looking ride.....I am planning on a long ride to Hazard, KY in a few weeks. That will be my longest.

Cool! It just keeps getting better and better. As for mileage on these bikes, quite a few are over 100k.

I am still having issues with my Throttle hand falling asleep :(
but I will install a cruise control that should help
You might consider handlebar risers if you don't already have them. Try to take your weight off the hands...

Try relaxing and dropping your elbows. Also, if you don't already have them, larger grips like the BMW ones or grip puppies can help too.

Something I've learned in the week that I've had my bike is that I tend to slouch a bit and lean forward. If I sit up a little straighter my hand doesn't get quite as numb. In addition, lifting the arm outward away from my body (so the armpit is open) allows the blood to flow. I believe in my case the problem is that I'm a little meaty (5'9 225 lbs) and I'm pinching off the blood flow a bit. I've got grip sleeves on order so I'll see if they help. I didn't suffer from this on my Vic or Vulcan, but that was more of a hang on position then push up, and had aftermarket grips. (Avon I think).

Heli Risers will fix the issue - straighten you up when riding and put the hands at a more relaxed angle. I'm 5'11" ... had similar issues after 700km ride .. new risers .. no more numb hands or forearms.

Perfect! Just bought a set off eBay.
I installed my new risers and so far, knock wood, have not had any numbness. I'll have to have a longer trip to know for sure though. The install was pretty easy, but the old bolts were somewhat seized. The new bolts almost seemed a bit too big for the two central ones, but a little bolt clean up and they went in.
