Hi guys,

Has anyone replaced the sub-harness for the knock sensor?
What do you have to remove to get to all the connectors? I removed the air box but seems like you have to remove the small tank as well.
There are three connectors on the sub-harness I could not find where they are connected to.
Anyone has the step-by-step procedure to locate all the connectors?
Thanks in advance guys

There is an article that describes the sub-harness replacement, intended to supplement the service manual procedure. Do a search for sub harness replacement and you will find it. The article doesn't mention lower tank removal, but the upper tank and throttle body must be removed. If you are considering replacement of the sub harness to remedy a code 25 or 26 (knock sensor), you may want to try repairing or replacing the connector(s) first unless you've already confirmed the problem is the wiring harness.
