I'd wait to see if it happens again. If it does, it will not be easy to trouble shoot if the problem remains intermittent .

Please let us know if it happens again. I have a few ideas you may be able to use. If you have time now, you could check a few things with an Ohmmeter after removing some plastic to gain access to some electrical connectors. Like the Run/Stop switch, kickstand switch, and ignition module electrical connector, etc. I can give you more detailed info. , if you desire.

What it turned out to be was a bad key connection. If you wiggled the key it would just shut off. I ended up removing the key cylinder and cleaning it out good.... problem fixed...

Well done. As Jim Van said, intermittent faults can be a bear.
