Just took the bike for a run this evening after being away for 2 weeks.
The bike has been sitting in the garage connected to a battery tender.

The fuel gauge is stuck on 2 bars and there is no fuel consumption information displayed.

I have done a quick search, however the fuel gauge problems that come up don't seem to be the same.

Any ideas folks ?

Is that with the bike running? How old is you battery? No fuel consumption info could be just pushing the button on the left dash to display the info. It goes to default ( -- ) after a fill up if the gauge flashed the one bar low fuel warning.

Good morning from Scotland.

The problem is resolved....thank you Bones.

After reading your post I hunted out the owners operating manual and checked the instructions for the fuel gauge and the buttons on the left dash.
I noticed that one of the display options was "no indication" i.e. a blank display, which was exactly what I had.

Switch on the ignition and one push of the button and I had the display back :)

I have just taken the bike into town and filled up, everything working perfectly.

I have no idea how the display got set to "no indication" but combined with a low fuel level (there was just under 6 litres in the tank) which I rarely do, it was enough to confuse me.

Read The Manual :doh1:

Thanks for the help
