Does your St bars vibrate/reaonate at idle?

Do the St bars normally vibrate at idle?

Just wondering if this is normal, I don't think it is as the Vfr800 doesnt neither does my mates GL1500 goldwing

Define vibrate.
Some small vibrations is normal. Some of it will go away when the clutch is pulled in.

Adjust your counter balancers.

We are all very different in how we notice or are affected by vibration so not sure my input is meaningful. I had a '99 VFR 800 and I can't remember there being much if any difference in the feel between the two bikes at idle.

ST's don't vibrate, just Harleys

Harley's don;t vibrate, they just provide extra feeling.

I would like to update/close this thread

My intermittent handle bar vibration appears to have been caused by a faulty HT lead

I have remedied the problem by changing 5k resistors in the plug caps and using new 7mn tinned copper HT lead on all 4. I would have purchase genuine Honda but the 4 caps and 4 leads were ?240 which seemed excessive
