This is going to be fun. The NC700 was a great bike for almost 30,000 miles but I scratched the itch for something new. Skunkape is to blame.....I rode his Tiger XC about 50 miles at the BRG last week. I choose the Roadie version.

The Tiger 800 Roadie is the only bike currently on my radar.

I bought my TEx 1200 a few months ago, and now have almost 4,500 miles on it. If you look at the list of bikes I've owned, you'll get an appreciation for when I say my Triumph is the best do-everything motorcycle I've ever owned.

Congrats.

Congrats on the new bike. Seems Honda is loosing repeat costumer sales, to the other manufactures, a lot now a days. Have fun and enjoy.

Today was a beautiful riding day in north Florida. 45 degrees F at dawn and 75 at noon. I rode 412 miles scouting roads for FLSTOC next month. We looped around Lake City, Madison, Live Oak, etc. My Tiger has 905 miles on it now. Yesterday, at 477 miles, I had the dealer pull the OEM bias ply Scorpion Trail front tire and replace it with a 110/80R-19 radial Scorpion Trail. It makes a huge difference on this bike. It tracks beautifully and ignores painted lines and grooved pavement unlike the bias ply tire fitted from the factory. This bike handles great and the triple sounds great. Wasn't supposed to yet under Triumph break-in guidelines but I did the ton on Tiger for the first time today - "briefly". We also did a few miles of unpaved roads.

Very nice. Can't wait to see it. Wish I could have ridden with you today but had a great day watching the Blue Angels.

Keep up with that Beemer? "905 miles" Sounds like it's about time to cut her loose.
