Couple of STs after Deals Gap!

Hmmm... Tailgating and hanging over the center stripe. Not the way to ride that stretch of public road. BT but not DT! Sorry, pet peeves of mine.

I have done that strech of road many times over the last 20 years or so. That is a tricky little section of 28 between the bridge and Fontana Village.
There have been lots of crashes there. That one guy needs to invest in a full face helmet.
28 gets much better just past Hwy 19 toward Franklin.
Beware, the road is dangerous and heavily patroled by both Grahm County and the NC trooper$. I found that out the hard way.

+1 John. The cameraman was seriously crowding the rider in P2.

I can only speak for the lead rider, as its me. Yes #2 did hang over the center a few times and has been warned about it. However what you can not see in the vid, is what his sight line was. I know I could see far enough anytime I was on the line to do so safely.

It is a fun road, the guys are right though that the part after it turns off the 4 lane is a lot of fun as well. We just did not have time that day to ride all of it.

28 is great for almost all of the 100 miles from Walhalla to Deals Gap. Thanks for sharing a little of it.

Scrape and push @ 1:59 got the riding cameraman's attention. He is also riding too close to rider #2; I have seen riders in a group collide doing this. Not safe!
