I love my 05 Connie!!! They are great bikes. My only problem with having a C14....NO dual exhaust.
I've got this "thing" about bikes or trucks/cars, not having duals. It just doesn't look right. Other than that, I'd probably own one. Also, I'm not sure if they come stock, or can get factory cruise.

I thought cruise was standard on the Connie...no?

I've always preferred dual exhausts to a single. I like the symmetry. That pipe on the new Concours looks HUGE. With duals it might have been smaller.

Not a bad looking bike but not quite as sleek as the ST for my tastes. That fairing looks like it may go a long way to reduce heat on the legs for those that have a problem with the ST. I've always like the Kawasaki green. Just the right shade and depth of color.

You'll dump the factory pipe for a nice fiber one... opens up the nice throaty engine voice a bit. :)

It's good to see they have updated the Connie to some extent.
I wish they would have increase the fuel tank capacity by at least a gallon.
That green surely does catch your attention...a little too much for me.
I like the green color, a Kawasaki trademark, but think it looks out of place on the Connie. If I had one, it would probably have to be the Metallic Spark Black.

I agree, the bags are WIDE!
I don't know where the C14 ranks, but back in the day when I had my C10 Concours (before the C14 was on the market), the Concours was the standard of comparison for width measurement in a lot of magazine reviews.

Hey Rob haven't seen you in awhile. I put a Two Brothers on my '08 earlier this year and like it mucho better. Crazy thing about the C14 to me is, it seems like a bigger bike overall but the ST weighs around 60-70 lbs more but pushing it around the garage it feels like it weighs 200 lbs less than the ST for some reason.

I think the same Mark. Very distinct.

Edit: it reminds me of the green metallic bee (sweat bee)

I had V45/700/V65 Sabres (from 1987 to 2006 (bought the '05 at the end on Nov '05) and they bags were fine for splitting traffic with. I only had softbags on the V65 though.
