Can I put a power commander on my 2010 st1300

I want to put a power commander or another device similar on my bike to get a little more mpg and better performance. How hard and expensive will it be for me to do it myself?

Don't think you can.... from memory, the computer was changed a bit after 05(?) and the PC didn't function properly.... will see if I still have the info.

one of many threads , use search for power commander.
I think the end result was you'd be better off chainging out the pipes and air filter as they never really got it to work on bikes after 03(?)

This is the only one you can use I believe. Valkman has one.

Looking at their HP chart, it goes out to 11,250 RPM. How did they do that with a red line at 8500 and the REV limiter less than 9k. Not saying the data is wrong, just how did they get an extra 2.5k+ out of the engine.

Why? The ST1300 has plenty of performance as is.
