Since they aren't bringing them into the US lately, I thought I'd let anyone who might be interested that there is a brand new 2012 ST1300 available at a dealer in Florida who wants to move it out asap. I believe they are looking for $15,500 for it so if that sound interesting to you, pm me and I'll refer you the details.

Yes, nice, fitting price (referring to 10,995 in LetErBuck's link).

I'm amazed at the high price many folks ask when trying to sell 6-11 yr old STs, having a lot more miles and some without ABS.

New, 2012 ST1300 ABS: $11,999:

Some of the bikes on this list may have sold by now but it's likely some are still there as ST1300's aren't the hottest bikes in demand.

Gee, $15.5K for a new 2012 sounds kind of high for a moto that it appears Honda has orphaned off.

I bought a used 2012 with 23K miles on it two weeks ago for US $8,800 ($10K Canadian). I put two new tires on it, changed all the brake pads, and now I have what is more or less a new 2012.

Hard to believe such a wide range of prices for a 2012 ST1300A. I can't imagine anyone willing to pay $18k+ for one.

Good question! I only went to the 1300 because my 1100 had 260,000 miles on it and when I crashed it I just couldn't justify putting any $$$ into the repair.

At first on the 1300, I was ambivalent. I definitely liked the better brakes and the fuel injection. It took the better part of a whole year and some 30,000 miles to get "un-used to" the 1100 and begin to appreciate better the 1300. The 1300 does "fit" me just a tiny bit better in the leg department.

It's now coming up on 4 years, and I've put 102,000 on the 1300. That includes a several of long trips, including the 18,000 mile tour I did this summer in two months. I can say that I am now as comfortable and "loving" of the 1300 as I was the 1100. Each has it's unique characteristics but in the end, it comes very close to a draw for me with the 1300 just edging out the 1100, due primarily to the FI and braking (from a performance perspective), though, since I do all my own maintenance, I really miss the 1100 because I think it was easier to work on. If someone were offering up a choice of either one for free, it might just come down to the color! :)

I tried to offer a lowball offer on a 2012 sitting at the local dealership that was offering @ $13,999 and they weren't even interested in my offer! No biggie, not sure what I would do with a fourth ST1300 anyway! ;)
