I just was able to start back to my seasonal job of pumping propane this past Monday after being off last season because of my motorcycle accident year ago October 4th. Remember, it wasn't my fault. But I'm some what healed up so was able to start back and also have been riding a little again after being off the bike for the past year. Have been able to put a little over 2k miles on my fantastic 03 ST1100P, mostly pulling my Lees-ure Lite camping trailer.

When I started back to work they talked me into working one Saturday morning a month. Next Saturday is mine. Should have been yesterday! I could have made money instead of spending it. I did something that I know I've said I wouldn't ever do? I went to DFW Honda to try out a Gold Wing. They had a bunch of them, used and new. News were out-too much $$$$ for me. So I looked at the used. The 02 yellow caught my eye. Took it out for a spin. Wow, what a different feeling than the ST.

A little from our past. Between my wife and I we have owned 11 different GW's. I've had 6 and her 5. But this one was completely changed from the ones we had.

After I returned fron the spin, I noticed they had a 12 model. Wow, it looked very nice. He talked me into riding it too. I could tell a difference in the 10 years but again, for the $$$ increase, I couldn't tell that much. So, after much dilberation, I ended up buying the 02, racing yellow one with 57k miles. They are going to fine detail it this week and will be picking it up later this week. I know it will pull my camping trailer much better than my ST.

Now need to decide if I want to keep the ST with only 23k miles on it or put up for sale?

Very nice Gary! I love my ST but miss my Wing. Perhaps I'll have both in the garage again someday ;)

Congratulations, since it is a dealer deal, the recall probably has been checked, but ask just to make sure! You don't want a cracked frame.

Congrats Gary. Your yellow bike along with your Hi Vis jacket we should be able to find you in the shopping malls now, whether you are on foot or wheels. :)
