The u Joint replacement requires a 19mm Allen socket to torque the swingarm bolt(s). If you don't have one in your toolbox, try this: locate a craftsman 5/8 inch spark plug socket and remove the little rubber piece, then insert a 6 inch extension into the socket and you now have a 19mm tool that will work for your swingarm bolts.

The same trick works on the front axle on a BMW. Craftsman 13/16 spark plug socket turned around is a 22 mm hex head.

Thanks for the tip. At some point in the future there is a U joint replacement due and this will come in handy.

When that time comes don't fight the swingarm and 02 sensor wires. Don't try to unscrew them and risk breaking a wire, simply follow the wires up and disconnect the conectors. This way you can completely remove the swingarm and take it to your workbench and inspect, clean, and pack the bearings.
