Hi all a bit of advise please, can I remove the drive shaft on my 2002 ST1300 to grease the splines at both ends without removing the swing arm ?

Happy Christmas to all :)

I'm thinking no. From what I remember, I believe it helps hold it all in place. I'm sure others with more recent experience will chime in.

No, you can only do the back wheel end. To do the front end you have to pull the swing arm back a bit.

And from all I've read and my experience it doesn't need greased. I greased mine when the U joint went out at 135,000 or so. Shaft splines were just fine and are still running.
