Need your expert help and advice.
I have a PE '00 ST1100Y with ~175k km.
While doing some routine checks today, noticed some sticky adhesive/glue on the lower cowl. Tried cleaning it up & noticed that the trail leads from fairing LHS ICM. There's some light yellow sticky adhesive ozzing out from the wiring under the ICM, forming a sticky trail.
The texture of the substance feels like thick glue, seems like the protective adhesive coating inside has melted & start to expose & dripping out slowly.
Looks like the leak has been around for a while from the look of it.
Bike still starts fine & runs well.
Has anyone else seen this problem and any remedy to it?
