Ridersmate

This looks like a decent system, like life-alert I've fallen and can't get up!

What are your thoughts about using this product?

There are a few phone apps that will autodial if the G sensor detects a crash. One less thing to have to pack/connect.

Probably would work better for the cyclists... a rider already has so many things to worry with. Wearing all the gear we normally do, the curly cord may get disconnected without us knowing it. May be an idea for "Spot" to add a fall feature to their currently overpriced transmitter and service.

I think that for those that do a lot of solo riding whether on the street or back country it may be a good thing. Although it is unclear if it is cell based or satellite base. Cell based would be worthless as many spend much time out of a cell tower range.

This is something that would not be worth getting in my opinion.
