I saw a write up on making my own "laminar lip " on the list here, and tried it. It took two tries, but the second one came out nicely, and DID reduce noise behind the windshield significantly. Anyone with a bit of mechanical ability could build one of these, it just is a bit finicky as to the proper bend, etc. Mine is a bit odd looking, but works VERY well. I found I could turn down my MP3 and still hear it very well, and buffeting on my helmet is really reduced.

Anybody used this Wunderlich Wind Deflector (http://www.wunderlichamerica.com/motorcycle/8110025.html) on ST1100 OEM windshield?
I'm looking for something like this for my ST - mostly to blow some more air on me when it is very hot. The price made me gasp. I'll play around in my shop this winter and see what I can cobb together - might be more expensive counting my time, but way more fun than just plunking down the better part of a buck and a half for some plastic and a nice metal hinge/clamp.

If anyone knows of something similar but cheaper I'd appreciate the link.
