Whistleing, Wining Noise

UPDATE on the whistling ......... I took the advice on adjusting the counter balancers and actually it was a simple operation. It actually helped a good bit. There still is some whistling, but not near as bad as it was! And I noticed that when the bike is running at around 70 mph, the whistling is almost not there, almost sounds like a Goldwing engine running........quite! Go figure that! Soooooo, if you want to quieten down that whistle, adjust the counter balancers it will help. And thanks to all who chimed in, I really appreciate the advise. NOW for the hard assed seat!

I wondered how much difference the counter balancers actually do. Curious if anyone's ever run without them...
They balance harmonics.

Step 1 split the crank case.
Course before that
Remove the engine, alternator/starter clutch cylinder heads, tranny, starter....
doubt it LOL.
