Replaced my timing belt

Well ..... I replaced my timing belt a few days ago and got everything buttoned up today.

When I went to start it, guess what ?? It started right up !! WOW !! Amazing !!

Congratulations, evidentially on a job well done. Hope you didn't have to hold your breath too long before she started... it can be a tense moment. :)

To avoid that you first rotate the engine by hand (plugs removed) with the new belt installed... then re-check the pulley markings, spanner pulley, etc...
But even I keep the kill-switch off for the first blip on the starter button... just in case :lol:

Now that is always a good feeling when you have been deep inside tearing things up and you put it back together and it works!! Now it is time to enjoy it!!

Methinks you guys do just brilliantly with John and others over there...

But a World-STOC sounds tempting... now if it wouldn't be so expensive to air-lift the bikes around the globe :D
