Some of you may remember my friend Rick aka Trailace who runs the www.Motocampers.com site crashed his new wing on the way to RanchSTOC with me earlier this year.
Well, he decided to buy a new truck F-250 4wd that he's been wanting for a while now and as such did not have the funds to purchase a replacement for the wing. Well, Motocampers is having their yearly Cherohala Chill Out this weekend.
Rick has a couple bikes left in the stable - a WR250 and the Honda CRF230L... he didn't want to miss the event so he loaded up the CRF230 and headed out of Houston Wed afternoon about 6:45 and made it to Knoxville, TN then Hunt's Lodge in Telico Plains, TN - needed to add 80 miles to get a few miles over the 1k mark - right around 4:40 on Thursday afternoon.
He's not sure he'll turn in any documentation but he has everything.. I would have loved to do that with him on a similar bike but I would have been on the side of the road crying at around mile 300... LOL
