Getting the new trailer all set.

I added a few lights, I wanted these built in so I won't forget anything behind. No muss, no fuss. The beauty of a Roll-A-Home is the less then 2 minute set-up, so I wanted the lights to fit in that game plan too. All runs on 12v battery power. It gets charged via bike connection while riding.

I used 5630 LED strips, cut them to size and then 1" clear heatshrink to attach them to the support poles. Wiring was run through the poles to protect it and again keep it out of the way and undamaged. Grommets installed at each entry and exit point.

6 light option installed:

The bedroom:

Bedside reading lamps (switched individually):

Outside night lights for ambiance:

Front porch / security light:

And to control it all (sans bedside lights), a pair of 4 channel RF remotes:
One for me, one for the SO

Wow, all that's missing now are widescreen TV, Dolby Surround and the beer-cooler... ;->

Kudos on the grommets, also additional sleeving where the tubes have joints?

NiCE Setup - The Sun will never go down on that bunkhouse. WHO says you need Coleman Lanterns to go camping??

Beauty of a Roll-a-Home, no joints. Support poles are hinged to the main body and I left a loop of wire at each.

Added a ceiling fan in the bedroom for the comfort factor.

The 8" one from O2. Normally it runs on 8D batteries... that just happens to be equal to 12v dc, same as what my trailer, lights and CPAP use.

Add in a pwm speed control and you are sleeping well. :)

Nice I usually pack the smaller 2D version when summer camping, amazing a what a difference a little breeze will do.

What? No lasers?!? And I'm sure there's room for a disco ball!

Seriously though, that's awesome! I installed led strip lights in the high school marching band trailer last year; big help during those late-night loadings in a dark parking lot.

Thanks Joe. I meant to get one before my trip but never got around to it. Fortunately, didn't have any real hot nights.
