Exactly. That's what you get with the OEM ratio of only 15:1 . That's how my brake lever acted with the OEM MC , too.

With the 12 mm MC that results in a higher ratio, the feel is much better. I only need one finger to stop now.

I still use all my fingers, but I can stop easily with just one, if I had to.

BTW, I never took the Basic MSF Course, but I did take the Advanced Course. They never talked about that in the Advanced Course.

Two fingers give a very sensitive, precise control and dosage, whilst clinching on the lever with 4 fingers (like ABS riders) gives just brute force, with absence of any precision...

An issue when using two fingers though: in case you do hit something, the not used extremities of your right hand might end up squeezed between brake lever and handle...

I however learned and practice the 2 fingers on clutch, 2 fingers on brake method... and still have all my pinkies ;-)
