Talk about a Happy Birthday

So my friends daughter is getting married in Santa Barbara this weekend, a flight from Connecticut was a long$hot but we managed to pull it off. Having a hunch I consulted the World Superbike calendar and lo and behold they,as well as the Moto America series, are at Laguna this weekend. The wedding is Saturday, I was almost afraid to ask so I casually mentioned it… Her response? We have to go. Better yet Sunday is my birthday, the stars are aligning.

Cool beans.....now go buy a lottery ticket!

Sorry to hear about the nasty crash in the Superbike/Superstock 1000 race where two gentlemen from Spain lost their lives. Did you see that race?

Yes, we were in the main grandstand at start/finish. It happened right in front of us just to our right at the start....very very bad circumstance. I've been an avid roadracing fan for a long time and due to many factors we knew the consequences were bad but I was still taken aback when we heard the news. Godspeed Daniel and Bernat.
