Miz,

One of the coolest thing I've seen. Good on you for taking the time to get things so precise. There is obviously a lot of work put into it. If you make multiples and want to sell some I'm in!

Indeed a skilful, nice looking and long overdue approach on that "issue" (lack of a decent ST1100 model that is... till current day only the Joe Bar model existed...)

Do you plan a production (seeing the etched parts I assume so), intend to cooperate with a model MFG and are there any copyright issues with Big Red to be expected?

Whatever you do, I'm in...

Thank you for your interesting everyone.
I sent the model to the 3D manufacturer. They'll scan it soon.

Hello SupreSabre and ST Gui,thank you very much for your comment.
Hello JRob and ST1100Y , of course I'm willing to share the model with ST owners.
There would be a lot of work to do. Whether I should make it complete model or as kit.
And of course you'd think about cost. I'll report you how much cost I need for this first one.

Hi ST1100Y,Thanks for your interest.I do not intend work with MFG at the moment.
I'll keep this as handmade model and would like to share it with ST fan :)
By the way, what is "Big Red"?

Hello Troy, thanks. Oh is it?It's not popular though here is honda's home country ;-)
I think you already know, there exists ST1300 miniature in 1/24 though it's not precision model.

But I imagine it would be nice that I could have both model in 1/12 scale.

Is that model available in Japan? People here in the states do NOT have access to the ST1300 miniature and have spent hundreds of hours trying to find a place to buy it! Can you get them readily?

Troy

P.s. Your modeling skills are impeccable! I truly appreciate your sharing your progress!

Yes, 5~6 years ago that ST1300 model (in silver and the shown orange/red) was floating around on eBay, but went pretty rare now...

The ST1100 however just never made it to the modelling... so I figured that Honda had blocked and permissions to do one...

So I'm in, if you get your edition up in numbers for sale...

A scale model will look nice aside my Joe Bar Team ST1100

Thanks for sharing, I admire your skills and patience.
I'm also interested in a silver ST-1300 model but have not been able to find one.

Hello,
I made steady efforts. Here comes a front fender and wind screen.I used vacuum form technique.
The main bodies are still under 3D scanning and modeling phase.

Hello,
thank you ST Gui,please continue watching.

I got 3D image. It was combined left and right. I will not be OK like this. I found that it looks little bit wide.
I have to adjust the width, otherwise, it could be fat. I hope it's not so tough work in the 3D world.
