Clear lenses for the front turninglights ST1100

I received the lenses yesterday and installed them last night. Pretty easy to do once the glue had softened enough (and it had been sitting there for 26 years), the new lenses snapped into place nicely.

Here is the result.

Hey folks:
I ordered a set of these lenses from Ad and he put them in the mail on Nov. 28th....its now Dec. 29th and I still haven't seen them. Just wondering if anyone else (particularly other Canadians) has ordered these and has experienced a similar delay in shipping? I know the Netherlands is a long ways away, but???

I ordered a set from Ad Nov 14, and received them in New Zealand on 1 Dec this year. No issues with the ordering process or the final product at all. Maybe your package has been caught up in Christmas traffic?

And possibly Customs.

I've considered both of those possibilities. I have ordered countless items from the US over the years and often find it remarkable how quickly things come. First time from Europe though.

Received my order today from Ad, pic below shows one test fitted to an old unit that I tested my dismantling skills on



Just waiting on chrome bulbs and chrome paint for the insides and they'll be fitted to the ST.

They really freshen up the front of the '11. Nice job.
Pretty soon you'll be able to buy them from Ebay though. BTDT, having stuff made in China. Once the manufacturer realizes there is a market.....
I'd love to bring some of my ideas to fruition, and having them made in China makes it cost effective, but, you get a short run.

It might be better if you quoted something from the OP's post so he gets a notification when he visits the site just like you just got.

Anthony, you might want to try going to the first page of this thread. The first post is from ad1993pan. If you click on it with your mouse you can choose to send an email. That will get to Ad Ploeg, the maker of this farkle.

As previously stated, yes, they are available. I received mine a couple weeks ago. Very nice BTW. I just got the correct flasher and will probably install them tonight or tomorrow. I ordered the wrong one first time.
