Carb question

I've just pulled my carbs as they're leaking like a sieve. On the upper portion of each bank there's a 3/8" (approx) hose that runs towards, and points to the nipple that goes into the airbox chamber. Those two lines on mine aren't connected to anything and I couldn't tell if they should be from manuals.

IIRC, these are just vent tubes. But don't take my word for it!

@Irish So far these look ok other than the dirty bowls. Fingers crossed!

Gaskets are now ordered, along with a new fuel filter. gettin' a bit itchy here...

Interestingly enough the gaskets are coming from Ontario, Canada not far from where I grew up. New stainless steel socket head cap screws are in hand to replace the old float bowl screws. I'm also going to buy a JIS screwdriver for everything else!
