I just ran one on my FJR to try it out, and it was OK, keeping mind the FJR is a bit lighter bike. I would say it is not as long wearing as say a Michelin PR2 or 4 if you're looking for long wear. It wore in the middle faster than I'd like and was to the cords with little warning in the last part of its life and I had plenty of tread left on the sides, as I had not seen my usual amount of twisties. It did grip well in all conditions. I've installed a PR4 to see how that goes.

I have them on my 09 ST1300 ... have had them for approx 12,000KM. Noticed when i put the bike in winter storage ..some cupping, the backs not so bad. But thinking that i will replace them this spring with Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT's .. the reviews i have read seem to say this "the" tire to try.

Had the Z8 om my 1300.
Lasted about 10.000 km.
On the contrary Bridgestones BT023 and T30 last 14-16.000 km.
Now I have the PR4.
They look still very good with 13.000 km.
I expect them to run 18-20.000 km.

I had a set on my ST1300. They handled great, but they were done in 6000 miles. Some riders had issues with a harmonic vibration around 45MPH, that was attributed to tread pattern. I never noticed any vibration, but it was discussed on several forums.
