Do I need to remove the knee pads that are inside (closer to the center of the bike) the little access panel or do they go right over top sticking to them?
Go to my website and you'll see some pictures (near the bottom os all the pictures) of the knee pads getting applied to the air deflectors.Do I need to remove the knee pads that are inside (closer to the center of the bike) the little access panel or do they go right over top sticking to them?
Ok, so I believe this answers my question, I need to remove them off my fairings first, then install on top of the deflectors. Thank you!Go to my website and you'll see some pictures (near the bottom os all the pictures) of the knee pads getting applied to the air deflectors.

I'll be riding a couple hundred miles on Sunday. I had a short ride today and it *seemed* better but it was cool out and a short ride.Let us know how the wrap works for you.
Thanks I'll try that,Use a heat gun (but not too much) to remove the 3m tape, it works wonders!
I have to agree so far. It seems to have helped quite a bit. I read mixed results here, even some saying they thought the bike got hotter. Happy to report that didn't happen with my bike.Wrapping the headers was one of the smartest things I've done. I'm told there is a HP increase, but the reduced heat upwards is worth it.
