I used all hh compound pads on my 99, at 70,000 it was ready for all the rotors to be replaced. They were worn down to the min thickness. The hh pads bite hard and have no fade. I primarily sport ride the bike thought and 5he performance is more important than longevity.

Re: How many miles - when you changed your brake rotors. Data collection

Well after riding through the winter months of mostly rain on my daily commute, I now need a rear rotor. It's down to 5.5 mm. The cutoff is 6 mm.
Thinking that all the rain and sand that they used on the roads acted like a lapping compound.
The new Honda rear pads only lasted a few months also, 7000 miles.
Checked the brake system to see if there was any dragging of the rear brake and found no indication that they were dragging.
Rotor has 80,000 miles on it.
A new EBC rear rotor is going on along with new EBC FA261 2HH rear pads.
