Hmmm...not surprising, but the figure is based on reported insurance claims. Lots of room for inaccurate correlations there.

Still think people who ride motorcycles are generally better car drivers.

The way I read the article, bike riders driving cars were less likely to make a CLAIM on their policy. It doesn't say we were in fewer scratch and dent accidents - only that, from the insurer's POV, the insured are less likely to suck bucks out of their coffers. Scrooge McDuck's money bin is safe with us.....

Though, as I said in another post, having just read David Hough's two books, and now chewing my way through Sport Riding Techniques, I'm thinking more about how I drive my car and looking at the road and traffic more as I would as a biker than I did before. I recommend all three books heartily. Don't ask why I waited so long to read these. I'm kicking myself for procrastinating.
