I just bought some parts off ebay (bike was an 06 with 12K):

Complete Saddlebag (Left or Right - not sure which yet) a few scratches for $60
Rear Shock $60
Front & Rear Saddles $80
Right side crash bar (looked to be in perfect condition) $25.

Did I need any of them? no, but at that price I just couldn't pass them up! :

Wow! What a story and lots of effort you put into your 'toy'.

My oldest son and I took "High Ho Silver" for it's first road trip. Rode from the Seattle area over the North Cascades Hwy on Hwy 20. Spent the night in Winthrop............ then we rode east over Sherman Pass , the highest year round Pass in WA STate.
........then we had a little lunch at the Hunters Inn in Hunters WA along Lake Roosevelt. Great father's day weekend!!!!

Better looking than his old man.

I have banned my children (two sons and a daughter) from riding motorcycles, I told them it was too dangerous. They weren't pleased. My daughter was even less pleased when I advised her boyfriend that he was welcome to ride my ST13.

Older son is now getting itchy feet about riding, last night he asked, "Dad when will the ban be lifted?" I advised, "Next year". He responded, "Great, I'll get myself a bike for my 40th birthday".

I reckon he'll be responsible by then.

The good lookin part is true for sure........got his grandmother's reddish hair. Both my boys have been riding since they were 9 years old. Lots of dirt bike time before asphalt. He has his own Honda 919 but the ST is more comfortable on longer trips. He's almost got 20 years on two wheels.

Three of my sons that ride all did it on their own. Their mother would never let them ride on the street before they left home. But we went to my FIL's place where he had a couple of old trail bikes that they would ride.

A couple of years ago, the three of them, myself and my brother did a Southwest tour. Great ride!

My 4 have already decided what sport bikes and what color they want. The 6 year old asked to get a dirt bike while we were at the dealer so I asked if he had the $1000. He said no. Next thing out of his mouth was "can I have it for my bday?" My response was "no, we only spend 20 on bday gifts." As soon as we got home he went running to his mama asking for a dirt bike for his birthday. Same response from mom. He still asks on occasion. He has also asked about a four wheeler so his siblings could ride on the back but they aren't permitted to drive according to him because then he won't be in control. Everyone of them enjoy riding around the neighborhood on the back of the ST.

I still have the mental problem..Just found a Corbin Smuggler trunk for Hi Ho Silver......But the hanger is only 20 degrees and the roads are covered in snow. She looks so sad under the cover. Come on spring!
and what it looks like today....

Anyone want to ride the great Pacific Northwest ????
