Any Goldwing riders on the forum had the brake recall done yet?

Thanks Andrew!

I got it done last week. Called ahead to make sure the Dealer ordered the kit. Took maybe three hours start to finish. This recall was the fix ...the other two were just to check the brakes to make sure they were still functioning.

I will have mine done the first week of April. The dealer where I bought mine has a guy that works almost exclusively on Goldwings and he is handling all the recalls, so I feel pretty good about getting it done.

Dropped my 2014 at the shop this morning, will pick up Tuesday (closed Mondays). Shop said they had done 12-15 so far.
Changing out/replacing parts, in the secondary master cylinder.

Made an appointment with Southern Powersports in Chattanooga to have mine done on Wednesday morning. They have a huge showroom with hundreds of bikes... YES, hundreds of bikes to look at. That's a lot of tires to kick while waiting...

I would encourage every Wing owner to get this recall done ...The dealer where I got mine done told me they have had two bikes in that had caught fire ..both seriously damaged and one that had locked up at 70 mph....Whether these are sea stories or not I don't know but play it safe and get it done.......Bill

Picking mine up this afternoon. Had front brakes/clutch done at same time. That way they are all on same schedule.

Mine is done, but I'm gonna need some new front brake rotors.... nothing related to the recall.
