Need to fix/improve my motorcycle lift...
On this China made thing the mechanism for actuating the open/lowering valve on the hydraulic jack sucks...
Already had to fix one bushing, attached to the valve-shaft on the jack body, but the rods connecting that to the pedal are really flimsy (the flexible joints consist of small tubes with cross-bored cotter pins... ... Excessive slack while actuating and one pin already sheared off while having a motorcycle lifted on the platform...)
Anyway, I already searched a number of RC-model stores but no joy...
I need two steel U-joints with 8mm bores on each end and a max length of aprox 40mm...
This part seems usable (the joint has to take quite some torque), but $ 52,- US a pop (ex P&P) is a little steep...

Found those Chinese made (same avail/listed on Alibaba)
http://www.amazon.com/BQLZR-Universal-Joint-Connection-Coupling/dp/B00JEYSX6G
but unsure about the quality, no torque ratings given, and the bore required for the cross bolt will weaken shaft- and bushing-ends...
Then those

also China, doesn't tell if both worm-screws are included, nor info on max torque given...
So if anyone is aware of other sources...
TIA!
