After a few weeks, if the problem hasn't returned, and you DEFINITELY want to know if it was the solenoid, put the old solenoid back in. ( No kidding ) . If the problem returns you will have PROVED it was the solenoid ( or a bad connection in the solenoid connector , if the problem doesn't return ).
