Instead of directly measuring the pressure in each tire the Accord TPMS monitors and compares the rolling radius and rotational characteristics of each wheel and tire while driving to determine under-inflation.

The wheels have standard tire valves and only require a few dash display selections to recalibrate the system via a 30 minute drive between 30-60 MPH after adding air for example. I'm curious if any motorcycles have this technology or still use the direct tire pressure systems.

I think this would only work where all the tires are the same size, not the usual set-up for a motorcycle. Also, would it be able to sense if all the tires were equally deflated? It looks to me like they're trying to use the existing ABS sensors to double for TPMS purposes.

The yellow TPMS indicator doesn't ID which tire is low and would sense when any or all were low. But as you say may be too much for the software to deal with the 2 rolling radius of motorcycle tires.
