Accent lighting on your bike's body?

Has anyone tried spider lights or something similar to light up their bike at night for effect? I'd like to have a little fun customizing my ST.

Not on my ST but my Road Star. Removed the spider lights I installed. The connectors are too fragile. Replaced them with LED accent lights except under the tank where I used a foot long LED strip on each side. There are many otions so I will stick to general advise. Plan out your locations. At night (dark) hook up a light and stick it with a square of foam tape to see if you like the effect. If not try again. Have quick disconnect option ie male/female weatherproof connectors in any area where you might need to remove a part from the bike for service. For final install clean the location good with alcohol and use adhesive promotor on the stick on pad. Check out the following site for ideas. They also have some good suggestions.

I like my customizing my ST without changing the stock appearance.

The ST1300 is pretty much invisible to the side at night. I replaced the reflectors with LED lights. It is a very functional upgrade without changing the stock appearance.

I've been wanting to do the same thing but haven't been able to locate a picture of what they look like from behind. In other words, how to they attach?

The LED lights attach the same way as the reflectors. They are as much a direct replacement as one could expect.
