We complain about bad OEM seats, failed heated grips, no cruise control, squirmy tires, etc.. How would you like to cross the U.S. the way this man did- on a 1 1/4 horse-power "motorcycle" in 1903!

You can try it the modern way and join in as they will be honouring him by recreating his ride.

This is George's diary of his trip. Pretty much the first 'ride report' ever!

Great reading, with terrific descriptions such as... "punctilious exactitude", "polyglot laborers" and "sportive cowboy".
