Heated grip controller

Hi All

I have just bought myself a 2005 ST1300, with the heated grips fitted. My issue is that of the four little LEDs on the controller, only the right hand one works, so I only know for sure when the things are on full, and am unsure when they are off.

Has anyone either

• changed the LEDs themselves or
• found a replacement controller as the unit is now unobtainable

Steve, you may need to include more information about your heated grips. There are several different manufacturers of heated grips, and even Honda had some, that are no longer available. Each has a different controller.

Yeah, I know. Mine are the discontinued Honda ones, they work just fine apart from the lights which show you if they're on or not! the whole kit has a part number of 08T50-MCS-801, I'd attach a pic if I could figure out how to put one on here!

OEM Hondaline Heated Grips for ST1300

I was thinking I might try to replace the LEDs by soldering in new ones, if I ever get round to it. Then again I might just leave it, as it's only cosmetic really!
