After spending the last few weeks on De-FARKLEing the '04#2, I got it all buttoned back up

I then rode it to breakfast and did a couple of errands and finally got back home to discover the waterpump is leaking! GRRR!

So now I get to pull it all back apart and replace the waterpump!

On a good note, I rebuilt a speedometer for it and when testing it, the speed was very accurate up to 50mph. Above that, it wasn't too far off. I did have to break the case back open because the tach off by 1K, but I fixed that and it seems to be working just fine!

Well, looking at my schedule for the next month and a half, the first chance I can work on it will be over the Memorial weekend. If I can't then, it will be in July before I can even think about it! :(

We'll see!

And the new owner will probably be very happy for a long long time. Good job Bob!
Thanks Keith, I just hope I can live up to all the hype! ;)
