Do they make a lowering kit for 98 st1100. thinking of buy one,and i see the seat height is 31.5" and I only have a 29" inseam. Going to go ride it friday. Just wanted to check if that was a option if its to tall. Thanks

I don't know of any lowering kits for any STs but there are shorter shocks too for some ST applications. Starting with the seat would be a twofer: superior comfort and more confident footing. Then there's easier installation and probably less expense overall.

27" inseam here, I don't use any lowering.
Be careful as if you lower the bike it changes the way it will handle.

Thanks,I will know more on Friday. It has a corbin seat on it now. Just short legged.
Note that many aftermarket seats are wider, thus making the bike 'feel' even taller. Ask the owner if they have the stock seat and try that for reference.

Works lowered rear shock and 60 series rear tire. I lowered the front a little in the triple trees, and had to have the kick stand shortened. No handling issues. Also take a look at the Daytona M-Star boots.
