Been scouring the interwebs just about every day for a RH mirror housing and both mirrors. I FINALLY scored a black housing off sleezebay for $35. Now I just need some mirrors. I've been reading on here where some of you's are cutting out your own and siliconing them in. I was wondering if you gotta adjust them before you silicone, or if they can only go in pretty much just 1 way. I'm not scared of doing this, but I was gonna see if you guys that have done it offer up a pic or two. Just kind of wondered how much silicone to goop on it, and if you could see it pokin' out around the mirror..

Thanks!

You could probably salvage and cut down glass from another side/rear view mirror in order to get the slightly convex shape you need.

I bought a stock automotive mirror from Autozone and a glass-cutting tool from Home Depot. It was easier than I expected, view is a match for stock. The secret is taking very small bites (nibbles) to get the shape correct.
