Well Sat. The14th around 11:00 pm I was riding home from a family gathering I was traveling about 60mph on a rural 2 lane road and struck a small doe. I was able to keep bike uprite and come to a safe stop .but bike front is jacked up entire headlight asembly gone radiator crushed mirror covers gone It looks like she went right over front fender and into bike . I didn't receive any major injuries. Just stiff right now will probably be sore in morning.:)

A buddy has three deer strikes on his ST. He's hit them a slower speeds and got some cracked plastic and headlight shell. He's stayed upright through each one but the deer are 0 for 3.

His wife wants him to get a new ST but he's says his is still good at 90Kmi and just needs the plastic buffed out. :rofl1:

Happy to hear your OK. Let us know if you get DOMS.

Sorry to hear this.... the forest rats are one major reason I don't like riding at night! Glad you were not injured.

A dude was killed on his Harley out here a couple of weeks ago after hitting a deer at 11pm and crashing. No helmet resulted in major head injuries. It was a wake up call for me.

On the positive side, there's one less forest rat! But that's the only positive thing I can figure came of this. Sounds like bike is probably a total loss. Hope you can get squared away in time for OH-STOC, but completely understand if you can't make it.
